6:30-7:30 ICE Verifier training

The training’s purpose is to share how neighbors are working together to mobilize when ICE and other law enforcement agencies threaten and hurt our neighbors. We’ll cover the basics of the rapid response system that’s being organized in Yancey and Mitchell and go into more depth into more depth on verifying ice rumors. This is the most basic training on how trained and coordinated verifiers help keep rumors from spreading and can protect our immigrant neighbors when they are targeted by ICE.
